Our client based in Farnborough is looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to report to the Group Marketing Director and with access to the Executive Board, you will be responsible for making sure the company is always well represented in the media, both in print and online, and that the internal communications plan, which is already very innovative, assists in retaining and attracting the best talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement a global communications strategy which effectively communicates the company’s activities to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage corporate and lead trade PR agency in the UK and, in conjunction with regional communications managers, provide direction and guidance for the international PR agencies
• Manage internal staff programmes including state of the nation correspondence, in-house publications and client magazine
• Interface with Head of IR and Financial PR agency
Qualifications & Experience Required:
• Experience of managing a small team
• Well educated and well presented with superior written and verbal communication skills
• Structured and organised: The ability to prioritise and work under pressure are paramount, as is attention to detail
• Willingness to tackle new and exciting projects
• International experience and/or a second language are important but not essential
• Commitment to CSR a distinct advantage
