Job Description
International Tax Manager - Home Counties
We are looking for an International Tax Manager to join our client\'s tax team in the UK. This role is heavily advisory based, but support in UK tax issues may be needed from time to time. There is a particular global region that is need of management so fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is essential.
The key responsibilities will include:
* Advising on major transactions such as restructuring, acquisitions and divestments in overseas territories.
* Supporting the management of regional holding companies.
* Advising on the financing of overseas businesses in conjunction with the Treasury department.
* Ensuring the tax efficient repatriation of profits
* Participating in the review of quarterly and year-end tax reports by overseas territories.
* Providing advice to business units in respect of ad hoc corporate tax and VAT queries.
We need someone who is ACA qualified with at least 5 years experience in tax. The role requires a creative approach to tax planning and close attention to detail. Communication will be key in this role. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is desirable, but not essential.
