- Full Description:
We currently have an opportunity available at first degree or post graduate level. You will be working as part of a development team on the design, implementation and test of products and solutions.
Software Design & Development
Development and enhancement of Platform and Embedded Software.
Undertake design, coding, unit and integration testing activities.
Good working knowledge of C and C++.
Knowledge of an RTOS would be an advantage.
Knowledge of an Embedded Microprocessor sub-system.
Appreciation of formal design methodologies.
Knowledge of Scripting languages such as TCL & PHP would be an advantage.
Software Test methods and quality systems.
GENERAL SPECIFICATION:
Most projects will require working as part of a multi-discipline team, within a fast moving environment.
Some knowledge of any of the following would be advantageous: digital video and audio standards, video compression techniques, IP protocols and networking.
Appreciation of hardware components found in Embedded systems, such as FPGAs, microprocessors and memory devices.
