    Our client is looking for a HR Manager to be responsible for the provision of an operational HR advice and support service and the implementation of people strategy. You will be based in Aldershot however it involves travelling to multi site locations across the South West.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Provision of HR support, guidance and coaching to managers in all people related matters including performance management, disciplinary and grievance etc.
    • Co-ordination, management and development of the Land Transport HR Team
    • Manage the provision of monthly HR reports, analyse trends and propose appropriate courses of action.
    • Management and co-ordination of all absence management activities
    • To monitor the Performance Development Review process and provide a quality assurance process
    • To work with contract managers to identify opportunities to improve business performance and in association with the HR Director, to develop and implement effective solutions
    • Co-ordination of all recruitment and recruitment related activities
    • The consultation for and negotiation of the annual pay reviews.
    • Manage the provision of advice and guidance to staff and management regarding salaries and benefits
    • To undertake consultation and negotiation with the trade unions
    • To provide specialist HR input/support to Business Development and Commercial departments
    • To manage and co-ordinate the provision of an effective HR administration service.
    • Ensure HR data accuracy, integrity and management in line with Data Protection requirements

    Experience and Skills required:

    • CIPD qualified
    • Driving licence
    • People management and trade union experience essential
    • Training and development
    • IT literate, with good understanding of employment legislation, commercially astute
    • Experience of problem solving, coaching and mentoring and change management
    • Have experience of TUPE, ideally 300+ capacity
    • Experience dealing with Trade Unions
