    Our client based in Wokingham is looking for a Temp-Perm Business Development Executive. The role is fundamental to the sales process and will be ideal for any candidates looking to develop existing sales skills in a varied and challenging environment

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the achievement of challenging new business acquisition targets for an outsourced contact centre and customer management consultancy and training provider
    • To achieve own personal sales target as set by the Sales and Business Development Manager
    • Proactively contact senior individuals within organisations to initiate business relationships with key contacts in each prospect organisation
    • Establish customer needs and effectively promoting a portfolio of outsourced services including outsourced contact centre services, customer research projects, consultancy, training, and bundled products
    • Assist with the management of the business development phase of the sales pipeline to ensure ongoing achievement of sales targets
    • Take responsibility for own sales targets
    • Promote Business Consultancy and Training, Quality Monitoring & Mystery Shopping and Customer Management Centre services
    • Proactive sourcing lists of potential customers, identifying relevant decision makers and arranging pre and post telephone contact mailings or emails
    • Accurate reporting on and administration of sales activity including updating and maintaining the sales database with comprehensive contact history
    • Represent the company appropriately on agreed occasions at meetings, presentations or exhibitions as necessary

    Experience and Skills required:

    • Previous business-to-business sales experience, ideally in a contact centre environment
    • Experience of selling solutions and intangibles desired
    • Self motivated
    • Target driven
    • Able to manage own time and work load
    • Very good verbal and written communication skills
    • Can work as part of a team, but also independently
    • Ability to communicate at all levels
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
